Tie us together as learning clusters. Pedagogy.
- We are part of a big team.
- We are tapping into something that has always been there. Sharing part of human nature since time began. Eve sharing apple with Adam. All emotions encompassed - enables humanity and represents who we are.
- youtube, bebo, twitter, sharing was being diverted circa 2005. Life changing.
- Work with students to provide an authentic audience for their learning outcomes.
- sharing in the digital age has altered the audience to which we share - we are reaching beyond our own community
- Authentic audience - an audience has the power to move on!
- Connected learners share - positive, thoughtful, helpful. New Graphic created.
Blogger
Blogger chosen as the main online space for our young people to share.
- Why? old ap, but in 2021, well aware it is not the greatest place that kids want to be, ie Tiktok.
- Purpose is not about the vehicle, more learning to drive. Blogger is old school, but is functional and the purpose behind it is to teach young people to share online that is secure, legal, large audience, resembles the hot sites, multi-purposed, guaranteed three check system. No new sign in for G suite users. Same email address for everything. Can check what students are doing online. Can be used by both learners and teachers. Enables us to utilise cybersmart process.
- Finishing - do we give our kids a chance to finish! There are some kids that never finish! Share to finish learning - The starting point of new learning.
- John Hattie - feedback feedforward has huge impact on young people.
- Changed 'finished miss' to 'Ready to share' - culture change.
- Manaikalani innovative teachers - '21. share

Wow! what a fantastic day! 150% better than last week online. I feel so alive and stimulated by what we have gone through today. Thank you Dorothy, Emily and Sharon! Fantastic! For me the sheets was so empowering. I can sit in a meeting now and not be too afraid to touch my mouse! Yes, I am being serious!
Confidence: I can honestly say, the WHOLE day! Everything made sense, some was a little out of it for me, but I did keep up and felt comfortable.
What can I use: definitely the sheets, I am feeling confident about analysing data, when needed. It may take me some time to re-familiarise my how it's done, but I do know where to go to look for the information.
What could improve my capability: making the blogs, notes as I go, linking the slideshows so that I can find this information quickly.
What do I need to do now?
